Last-Minute Instructions for JEE Mains Examination

Dear Students,

As you prepare to appear for the JEE Main examination, please read the following important instructions carefully:

  • Reporting Time – Follow Admit Card Instructions:
Many students believe they need to reach the centre 1 hour early. Please ensure that you strictly follow the reporting time mentioned on your admit card and plan accordingly.
IMPORTANT: TIMINGS ARE IN IST, IF NOT SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED. Recheck your exam timing carefully, keeping the time difference between India and Dubai in mind.
  • Account for Travel Time:
If possible, have a family member visit the exam centre once at the same time of day to estimate actual travel time and avoid delays.
  • Reach Early & Stay Composed:
Aim to reach the centre well before the reporting time to avoid last-minute stress.
  • Carry Mandatory Documents:
    - Ensure you carry the following without fail:
    - Printed JEE Main Admit Card Valid original photo ID (as per admit card instructions)
    - Passport-size photograph (same as uploaded)
    - One transparent/clear water bottle
    - Transparent ballpoint pens & personal Items - Pens and permitted items must be carried in a clear/transparent plastic pouch
     - Avoid clothes with pockets, metal buttons, or zippers to prevent unnecessary checking delays
  • Exam Strategy – Stick to What You’ve Practised:
    - Do not attempt anything new at this stage
    - Focus on revising formulas, concepts, and question types you are already confident with.
    - Attempt questions exactly as instructed by your teachers.
  • Align Your Body Clock with Exam Time:
Starting today, try attempting a mock test or revision practice at the same time as your actual exam slot. This helps your mind adapt to the exam schedule and remain more alert during the test—especially important for students with morning slots.
  • Stay Calm & Manage Anxiety:
If you feel anxious or panicked during the exam, pause and take a few deep breaths. This will help you regain focus and clarity.
  • Sleep Well & Eat Light:
Ensure you get adequate sleep tonight. Avoid late-night studying. Have a light, healthy meal before leaving for the exam.

Trust your preparation and your practice. Stay confident, stay focused, and give your best effort.

All the very best!
