JEE (Main) 2026: NTA Releases Advisory for Application & Document Requirements
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for JEE (Main) 2026, which will be conducted in two sessions:
Session 1: January 2026
Session 2: April 2026
The online application form for Session 1 will be available on the official NTA website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ starting October 2025.
✅ Key Document Requirements for JEE (Main) 2026
NTA has issued an advisory urging aspirants to ensure their documents are updated before applying. The following are essential:
a. Aadhaar Card (for students residing in India)
b. Must have correct name, date of birth (as per Class 10th certificate), latest photograph, address, and father’s name.
c. UDID Card (for Persons with Disabilities)
d. Category Certificate (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL).Must be valid and updated at the time of application.
All the above documents should be valid, updated, and renewed as needed.

🌍 Important Advisory for NRI Students
NRI students should note that Aadhaar Card is not mandatory for JEE (Main) 2026 registration. Instead, a valid Passport will be sufficient for completing the application process.
Since most advisories are directed towards students residing in India, NRI candidates can simply proceed with their passport details when applying.
